Award under Sub-Section 6 of Section 7 ofRec? 17 SEP 00 The Praya. Reclamation Ordinance, 1889.

Whereas the late Domenico Musso, Cron Lessee of Marine Lot 188 and of the remaining portion of Marine Lot 189, did not, in the manner and within the time pro- vided in Sub-Section (ii) and (iii) of Section 7 of the Praya Reclamation Ordinance, 1889 (or at all), signify his acceptance of the portions of the land assigned to him on the plan in the said Ordinance referred to and of his intention to enter into an agreement under the said Ordinance:

And whereas Vittoria Lucia Musso, Administratrix pen- dente lite, of the estate of the said Domenico Musso, deceased, has asked that I would, inder Sub-Section 6 of Section 7 of the said Ordinance award to her, as such Administratrix, for the benefit of the estate of the late Domenico Musso, such a sum of money or such 8. Crown Lease of new land as I might, in my absolute dis- cretion think sufficient as and by way of compensation for any injury that the said estate may have sustained by the works of the Fraya Reclamation.

And whereas I have heard the said Vittoria Lucia Musso and considered the claim and the evidence submitted in support thereof, and also the evidence of the Director of Public Works taken in the presence of the said Vit- toria Lucia, Musso.

Now I, William Julius Gascoigne, C.M.G., Major-General the Officer Administering the Government of HongKong, do hereby, in the pursuance of the power vested in me by Sub-Section 6 of Section 7 of The Praya Reclamation Ord- inance 1889, award to the said Vittoria Lucia Mus80, es
